Eduardo Benamor Duarte
Architect, designer and professor at the Rhode Island School of Design, was invited to interpret and create the brand's first product line. His inspiration came not only from his experience working with optical illusion and the technique of two-dimensional transposition - which involves adapting and applying figurative and geometric design techniques to the physical properties of a material, converting it into an object or space for human interaction - but also from the cultural heritage of southern Portugal, such as classical and baroque churches, and from countries in Asia and the Middle East.
